My feelings on this and who is keeping check on whom is a dismal situation. None of the names are worthy of being on committees that keep anyone restrained! Everybody on board are there because it helps them climb the ladder, yet does nothing to keep the people safe. And, it lets the CIA continue as before. I thought we were trying to clean up America, not help destroy it!
If you remember back a few years, Mike Johnson was very outspoken against intelligence abuses. Then he became Speaker of the House and made an overnight complete 180 degree turn.
Very likely someone in the IC threatened his family, or has blackmailed him.
Or he's a very smart, calculating politician who will likely be President one day.
