See my article on jfk assassination: https://covertactionmagazine.com/2023/11/22/60-years-after-jfks-death-it-is-more-and-more-apparent-that-kennedy-was-a-victim-of-a-palace-coup-spearheaded-by-vice-president-lyndon-b-johnson/ It was a coup by lbj, Texas oil and elements of the cia who didn’t want a Kennedy political dynasty. Kennedy was a committed cold warrior throughout his career who escalated the Vietnam war, supported funding of the Hmong cia army in Laos and orchestrated five times more covert operations than Eisenhower. He was not assassinated because he was against the Cold War but because of factional politics. And personal animus against him by some people in the cia. He initiated the special group on counterinsurgency which promoted counterinsurgency worldwide. See my book modernizing repression on this. Jeremy

Thanks. I'll try to read these.

I am convinced that JFK tried to get out of Vietnam. James Galbraith and others (L Fletcher Prouty) have written about this. The first thing LBJ and advisors did after the JFK assassination was to revise the policy to pull out of Vietnam. Gulf of Tonkin Resolution came within a year.

Anyway, I'll take a look at your writing on this.

Thanks again.

Good article.

The elephant in the room is the JFK assassination. If JFK was a committed cold warrior, why was he assassinated and by whom?
